From 2024-'25, while working on a project for the Mille Lacs Tribe through their TERO program; I found myself employed for Keystone Contracting out of Pine City, Mn. It was through this company I start my adventure from Apprentice on-to a Journeyman. The project was a new building in the city of Hinckley, Mn. A 40 unit apartment Located less than half a mile from the freeway. It was during this time I really started to learn how to put myself to work and manage my own time.
I worked for multiple companies during this project. My responsibility varied highly throughout my time on this project. Siding the Main building & garage, laying gypsum underlayment, and trimming out the individual units. It was through trimming and employment through the Pine City based company; Keystone, that I was giving the opportunity to join the Carpenter's Union. And seize that opportunity I would do. I signed up as a Local 322 carpenter as quickly as possible.
The project soon enough came to an end and the journey begins.....
In the summer of 2023, I enrolled into a Highway Heavy Carpentry class at the Local 1934 Union Hall in Bemidji, Mn. It was during this class that the love for the trade was found. Since then I've done a couple commercial projects and completed various garage builds. Currently, I'm working on building picnic tables for my community. Looking forward to the future, I aspire to fill my resume with a plentiful amount of projects and jobs.
